ACM O-Ring Features

• Excellent resistance to high temperatures.
• Excellent resistance to mineral oils, petroleum fuels, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and a few organic acids.
• Low compression set.
• Excellent flexibility and elasticity.
• Moderate mechanical strength.
• Excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, and sunlight.
• Resistant to automatic transmission fluid.
• Resistant to type A power steering fluid.

ACM O-Ring Limitations

• Not suitable for use in alcohol, alkalis, glycol based brake fluids, EP fluids, chlorinated hydrocarbons, gear oils, water or steam >275°F, acids, and amines.
• Typical formulation is only good up to -5°F.
• Poorer water compatibility, cold flexibility, strength, and compression set resistance than Nitrile.
• Not suitable for high-pressure applications.
• Incompatible with concentrated acids, bases, and strong chemicals.
• Not suitable for dynamic applications.
